The product is well made and it was delivered far faster than I thought it would be. To give some constructive feedback, I would like to see some more options in the future. 1. Being able to select the color/finish of the leather. 2. Being able to select lined/unlined. 3. More size options. 4. Closure options such as a snap, either button or magnetic. I know the options are going to increase the price, but I would easily pay them to get a quality custom gift made.

the leather is stiffer than I thought it would be (hate the floppy kind!), so it'll hold up in my lap; the color is a beautiful shade of brown -- not too tan, not too dark -- the embossing delicate and classy, and the paper a nice thickness and texture for my fountain pen. having painstakingly crafted my own leather-bound journals, I can tell this one was put together with precision and care. other than the fact that they forgot to ship one of the journals I ordered, I am very very happy with my purchase!
I now own four of these beautifully made journals. They are so beautiful and soft; the pages are so easy to write on. I will definitely be purchasing more on the future!

This was a lovely item. It was well made and the recipient of the journal (it was a gift) was quite pleased with its quality and style. I would caution that if you are purchasing as a gift, then order early as it took 2 weeks for the item to ship from CA to WV. Worth the wait, but unfortunately arrived a day after the intended's birthday.
