To say that times, as we know them have changed, would be an understatement. First and foremost, we hope that you and your family are keeping well and safe.
Today we wanted to share a few tips on how to use your journal during hard times. Given everything that is happening around us, it's possible that you find yourself feeling sad, unsure, nervous, and other feelings, and it's okay. Allow yourself to feel what you are feeling and give yourself some grace.
Use your journal to inspire your future goals.
Use your journal to note some goals that you have for the near future, and this could be anything from future travel plans to new business goals. Allow yourself to be creative and to dream. Dreams do come true, and if you are finding yourself having more time on your hands, dream. There are many things that are out of our control right now, one thing that you do control are your goals, dreams, and desires.
Use your journal to keep yourself accountable.
When you make a note of some future goals, give yourself some due dates to easily keep yourself accountable if you are able to check in with a friend and discuss goals, even better. Having an accountability partner will make a world of difference.
Use your journal to thank others.
There are many people on the front line fighting for the health of their community. Your journal is a great place to take a moment to say thank you to those caring for others.
Whether you journal for pleasure or business, we hope that you'll find these tips helpful.
