Data Deletion Request

You can ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you. This page explains how to make that request and what happens next.
What you can request
- Deletion. Ask us to delete the personal information we have collected about you.
- Access. Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you and how we have used it.
- Correction. Ask us to fix information that is inaccurate.
- Opt out of sale or sharing. Use the Your Privacy Choices link in our site footer, or send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser.
How to make a request
Email hello@soothi.com with the subject line Data Request and include:
- Which request you are making: deletion, access, or correction
- The email address you used to order or subscribe
- An order number, if you have one

Verifying your identity
To protect your information, we need to confirm that the request is yours before we act on it. We will match the details you give us against our records, and we may email the address on the account to confirm. We will not ask you for a password, a payment card number, or a government ID.
If you are an authorized agent making a request for someone else, send written proof of authorization along with the request.
How long it takes
We acknowledge requests within 10 business days and complete them within 45 days of receipt. If we need more time, we will tell you why and how much longer it will take, up to an additional 45 days.
What we delete, and what we keep
Deletion covers your customer account, contact details, marketing subscriptions, and browsing and order history held for marketing purposes.
Some information has to stay. We retain what we need to:
- Complete a transaction you asked for, including delivery and warranty obligations
- Meet tax, accounting, and recordkeeping requirements
- Detect and prevent fraud and security incidents
- Honor your request to opt out, which means keeping a minimal record that you asked
We keep this information only as long as the law requires, and we do not use it for marketing.
Our service providers
When we delete your information, we also instruct the providers who process it on our behalf to do the same. These include Shopify, which hosts our store, and Spoks, our email marketing platform. Timing on their side may vary.
Shopify also lets you make a request directly through the Shopify privacy portal.
No penalty for asking
We will not deny you products, charge you a different price, or give you a lower level of service because you exercised these rights.
If you disagree with our response
Reply to our email and tell us why, and we will review it. California residents can also contact the California Privacy Protection Agency or the California Attorney General's office.
